Benefits of Raising Your Vibration

What is vibration and how does it affect our lives? Vibration impacts our health, life view, and relationship to the world. We are vibration in motion…and stillness.

What do people mean when they refer to raising your vibration?

We are both physical and energetic beings. Higher vibrations feel wonderful—we know this and call them by labels such as happiness, peace, contentment, etc. Lower vibrations feel sticky, difficult—here people use words such as depression, anger, anxiety, etc.

There need not be judgment as to good or bad. Lower vibrations contain lessons needed to reach higher vibrational states. We also have free will and the ability to raise vibrational states if we so desire. The innate capacity to digest lower vibrations is built into our bio-spiritual system.

Every day we have various experiences. Some experiences pass through awareness, unnoticed. For example, in the morning, as you leave your home to walk to work or school or wherever you are off to, you pass houses, apartments, cars, other people, etc. The people, places, and things leave a negligible impression.

However, if a dog escaped from a yard and bit you on the ankle, that would create a big impression. The next time you walked past that house, most would feel somewhat anxious, perhaps even angry at the owner. This event becomes an unmetabolized experience that will fade with time or may become a permanent part of your being (for example, a phobia of all dogs) depending on your past experiences and more importantly your capacity for self-awareness.

This occurs with other interactions as well. Your boss or partner yells at you and this consciously or unconsciously reminds you of other times people have shouted at you that lie undigested. These patterns stick together and form patterns of unresolved energies. Some of this becomes what we call our “personalty” although this is an illusion. A large part of what we call personality are stories created to explain various stuck energies trapped inside. These are our likes and dislikes, fears and desires. These stories obscure our true self and potential. By raising our vibrations and metabolizing these trapped energies, our true personality and self can emerge like a butterfly from its cocoon.

Patterns stored in our energetic being can pose challenges

Old, stuck patterns stored in our energetic matrix make it difficult to reach higher these vibrational states. We are like musical instruments. If our instrument is “clear” of debris we become like tuning forks that harmonize with the higher vibrations that always surround us—the chorus of angels.

So how do we metabolize lower vibrations? It is simple, although not always easy: By entering a state of greater awareness! For example, moments when you realize that your thoughts and feelings are independent of you—you are the observer of them—-you enter a state of spiritual metabolism. Some people call this witness consciousness. Mindfulness is a stepping stone in the right direction.

Witness Consciousness to Raise Your Vibration

The deeper into pure witness consciousness you can drop, the more you can let go and the more you let go, the deeper you can go increasing your rate of spiritual metabolism. Over time, this can lead to immense rushes of spiritual energy as energetic channels open. Congratulations! You are digesting lower vibrations and transforming them into higher vibrations.

Because you are here reading this article, you likely have the potential to access higher vibrations easier than most. A very dense person would stop reading this article or never find it. Density has nothing to do with the intelligence or worth of a person. We all have our unique journeys.

However, for people who are very shut down energetically, a large wake-up call (or a big dose of vibratory energy) is often needed for them to break through stuck patterns. This may be a challenge in life, but not always. Not every awakening must be painful. It could be the birth of a child or a spontaneous spiritual experience.

There is more than one path…but many share one similarity

Many paths lead to higher vibratory experiences, ranging from meditation to prayer to daily mindfulness practices. However, one of the most effective is to learn to release and let go in whatever you do.

Release into your meditation practice further, release into God more, release into your mindfulness practice or prayer more. Once you can release and let go in those areas, release and let go in your life. Do this during the pleasurable times and the challenging moments.

Allow your heart to remain open as much as you can, but be good to yourself when you need to close too…then take a deep breath and open again. This sounds simple, and it is, but it is also one of the most powerful practices that you can do to raise your vibration and the foundation of profound, ancient spiritual teachings.
